Anthropologie In London!

We knew this day would come. We knew that if we kept everything we've got crossed that one day the good people of Anthropologie would flit across the Channel on a cloud of pretty bohemia and decorate our lives everafter. Because yes indeed, any minute now Anthroplogie will open it's door on London's Regent Street and we who have quietly loved their wares from afar will begin making pilgrimages to the Capital to ooh and ahh and spend the Christmas present budget on loveliness it is clear we will not live without.

Go visit Anthroplogie.Co.Uk ,and on the way give thanks to Holly at Decor8 because without her beady eye all manner of scrumptiousness would escape me.

I SO thought of you when I heard they were coming to the UK ("Man Shops World"), I remember YEARS ago how excited you were when you discovered it. I had been taking it for granted just down the street while coveting everything in the UK!!

I can't wait to see what you find!

'tis wonderful news isn't it?

I only found out that they were coming to blighty when I literally stumbled upon their store, work men and all last month.

I was kicking my heels before an event on Carnaby Street and wondered down Kingly Street (the back of Regents Street) and noticed a tiny little Anthropologie sign on the bandages covering the only Dickens and Jones building.

So excited was I that I dashed across Regent Street to the Apple store to ‘borrow’ their free internet and googled madly till I found confirmation.

Next week I 'accidentally' have arranged a meeting in Portland Place (just at the end of Regents Street) so I'll just have to pop in and say hi!

You have spet Anthropologie wrong on your link dear. I think you are missing an "o".
The shop got lots of praise in this weeks Sunday Times supplements.

That's good news. I hope they start selling their clothes online without the ridiculous tax and postage charges which made ordering from the US site impossible.
